The source form of the SSLib Statistical Seismology packages available from the main SSLib web site is more suitable for R running Unix/Linux systems than for R running on Windows systems. This is because it is somewhat more difficult to install the R packages from source on a Windows system, and hence this is not recommended for most potential users of SSLib. Note that if you wish to update an SSLib catalogue, you must be able to install R packages from source. (see the R for Windows FAQ 3.1). Fortunately the Windows version of R has a mechanism whereby binary packages may be installed much more easily. Windows binary packages of the SSLib software and the smaller catalogues are available from this page.
